Technican Applicants - Please Note!

Several unsuccessful Technician applicants have reported to us that they had taken online practice exams generated by QRZ.com prior to testing, and that they had been passing those exams fairly consistently.  QRZ.com has an excellent study aid that will generate a series of test questions that can be helpful to those studying for a license.  However, for this to be an effective study tool, it is necessary to take a number of different exams in order to get a good sampling of questions from the pool.

The Team highly recommends that prospective applicants preparing to take the exam use the AA9PW practice exams. The exams generated on this site are truly random each and every time, and because you have to answer all questions before getting your grade, they are considerably more realistic.  It is also recommended that applicants take several exams to better gauge their progress.  People who practice using AA9PW generally do at least as well on the actual exam, while those who do not consistently get a passing score on the AA9PW exams are generally not ready to test.

Please note that this is not intended to be either a criticism or endorsement of either site.  Our only interest is in seeing every person who tests with TEARA pass his or her exam on the first try.
