Welcome to the Home of the
Triangle East Amateur Radio Association Volunteer Examiner Team!

Who We
Are
We
are an ARRL sponsored VE team founded by Triangle East Amateur
Radio Association (TEARA) members Dave (WB4IUY) and Debbie (AC4QD) Hockaday in
1992, and we have been testing continuously ever since. The TEARA VE Team serves amateur radio licensing
candidates in eastern North Carolina through ten regularly scheduled
exam sessions each year, as well as special sessions as needed. Our current volunteer examiners come from the ranks
of TEARA and the Smithchart Amateur Radio Society.
If you are looking for
material to
prepare you for your entry level ham radio license, or if you live in
eastern North Carolina and you want to take an amateur radio exam, you
have come to the right place. So kick back, click, and enjoy your stay!
And if you want to be a part of one of the finest amateur clubs in the area, check out a TEARA meeting!
And be sure to visit the web home of TEARA.
